Flight Booking Protocols

At TicketsWale, we aim to make the process of finding and booking affordable airfares between Canada and India as simple, transparent, and reliable as possible.

These Flight Booking Protocols explain the standard process followed by TicketsWale (“TicketsWale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) when customers enquire about, reserve, purchase, modify, or cancel airline tickets through www.ticketswale.com.

These protocols are intended to help customers understand what to expect at each stage of the booking process and what information or actions may be required from them.

1. COMPANY INFORMATION

Legal Entity: TicketsWale
Business/Trade Name: TicketsWale
Website: www.ticketswale.com

Business Address:

2. OUR BOOKING PROCESS

A typical TicketsWale flight booking follows these stages:

1. Flight Enquiry

2. Fare Search & Options

3. Fare Quotation

4. Passenger Information Verification

5. Booking / Reservation

6. Payment Authorization

7. Ticket Issuance

8. Final Confirmation

9. Pre-Travel Verification

The exact process may vary depending on the airline, fare type, booking channel, payment method, and availability.

3. STEP 1 — FLIGHT ENQUIRY

Customers may contact TicketsWale through the Website, email, telephone, or other authorized communication channels to request flight options.

Customers should provide, where applicable:

  • Departure city and airport;
  • Arrival city and airport;
  • Preferred travel date;
  • Return date, if applicable;
  • Number of passengers;
  • Passenger type, such as adult, child, or infant;
  • Preferred cabin class;
  • Baggage requirements;
  • Preferred airlines, if any;
  • Flexible or fixed travel dates;
  • Preferred departure or arrival times; and
  • Any other relevant travel requirements.

Providing complete information helps us identify suitable fare options more efficiently.

4. STEP 2 — FLIGHT SEARCH AND FARE OPTIONS

TicketsWale may search available airline inventory through airline systems, reservation platforms, global distribution systems, consolidators, or other authorized sources.

Available options may vary according to:

  • Airline;
  • Route;
  • Travel date;
  • Fare class;
  • Seat availability;
  • Number of passengers;
  • Baggage requirements;
  • Connection requirements;
  • Currency;
  • Promotional inventory; and
  • Time of search.

A flight option shown during an enquiry is not automatically guaranteed until the applicable reservation is confirmed and the ticket is issued.

5. DISCOUNTED AIRFARES

TicketsWale may offer specially negotiated, promotional, consolidator, or otherwise discounted airfares.

Discounted fares may have additional conditions, including:

  • Limited availability;
  • Restricted travel dates;
  • Advance-purchase requirements;
  • Specific booking classes;
  • Minimum or maximum stay requirements;
  • Limited cancellation rights;
  • Change penalties;
  • Non-refundable conditions;
  • Baggage restrictions; or
  • Other airline-specific restrictions.

Customers should review the applicable conditions before authorizing payment.

6. STEP 3 — FARE QUOTATION

Once suitable flight options are identified, TicketsWale may provide a quotation.

A quotation may include:

  • Airline;
  • Flight number;
  • Departure and arrival airports;
  • Travel dates;
  • Departure and arrival times;
  • Connection details;
  • Cabin class;
  • Baggage allowance, where available;
  • Base fare;
  • Taxes and applicable charges;
  • Service or processing fees, where applicable; and
  • Total quoted price.

A quotation is generally valid only for the period expressly stated by TicketsWale.

If no validity period is stated, the fare should be considered subject to availability and change until the booking is confirmed and the ticket is issued.

7. FARE AVAILABILITY IS NOT GUARANTEED

Airline fares and seat inventory can change at any time.

A quoted fare may become unavailable before:

  • The customer confirms the booking;
  • Payment is received;
  • Payment is verified; or
  • The airline ticket is issued.

TicketsWale will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer if the quoted fare changes before ticket issuance.

Customers will generally be given the opportunity to accept the revised fare before proceeding, subject to the circumstances of the transaction and applicable law.

8. STEP 4 — PASSENGER INFORMATION

Before ticket issuance, customers must provide accurate passenger information.

Depending on the itinerary and airline, this may include:

  • Full legal name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Gender or title;
  • Nationality;
  • Passport information;
  • Passport expiry date;
  • Contact information;
  • Frequent-flyer number;
  • Known traveller information, where applicable; and
  • Other information required by the airline or applicable authorities.

9. PASSENGER NAME ACCURACY

Passenger names must be entered carefully.

Customers should ensure that the name provided during booking corresponds with the passenger’s passport or applicable travel document.

Customers should carefully verify:

  • Given name;
  • Middle name, where applicable;
  • Family/surname;
  • Spelling;
  • Date of birth; and
  • Other required passenger details.

Once a ticket is issued, correcting or changing a passenger name may be restricted or may involve airline charges.

A passenger name correction is not necessarily the same as a name change or ticket cancellation.

10. BOOKING FOR ANOTHER PERSON

If you make a booking on behalf of another passenger, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • The passenger’s information is accurate;
  • The passenger is aware of the itinerary;
  • The passenger receives the ticket confirmation;
  • The passenger understands applicable fare conditions; and
  • The passenger has the necessary travel documents.

TicketsWale may communicate with the person making the booking unless the passenger or customer requests otherwise and appropriate authorization is provided.

11. CHILDREN AND INFANTS

Customers must disclose when a booking includes:

  • Children;
  • Infants;
  • Unaccompanied minors; or
  • Passengers requiring special assistance.

Airline rules regarding children and infants may vary.

Different fares, baggage allowances, documentation requirements, seating rules, and service charges may apply.

TicketsWale will provide available information based on the applicable airline’s rules.

12. STEP 5 — RESERVATION

Once the customer confirms a flight option, TicketsWale may create a reservation or booking record.

A reservation may generate a PNR (Passenger Name Record) or another booking reference.

A reservation does not necessarily mean that a ticket has been issued.

Customers should distinguish between:

Reservation / Booking: A booking record has been created.

Ticket Issuance: The airline ticket has been successfully issued and a ticket number or equivalent confirmation has been generated.

13. PAYMENT BEFORE TICKET ISSUANCE

Depending on the booking, TicketsWale may require full or partial payment before ticket issuance.

Payment must be completed within the timeframe communicated by TicketsWale.

If payment is not received or cannot be verified within the applicable deadline:

  • The reservation may expire;
  • The fare may change;
  • The booking may be cancelled;
  • The seat may be released; or
  • A new fare may need to be quoted.

TicketsWale is not responsible for fare increases resulting from payment delays attributable to the customer.

14. PAYMENT VERIFICATION

For security and fraud-prevention purposes, TicketsWale may verify certain transactions before issuing a ticket.

Verification may involve:

  • Confirmation of billing information;
  • Payment authorization;
  • Identity verification;
  • Confirmation of the payment method;
  • Additional transaction information; or
  • Other reasonable security checks.

If a transaction cannot be verified, TicketsWale may delay or decline ticket issuance.

15. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

Available payment methods may vary depending on:

  • Customer location;
  • Currency;
  • Transaction value;
  • Payment provider;
  • Booking type; and
  • Other operational considerations.

TicketsWale may accept payment through selected card, electronic, bank, or other payment methods made available to customers.

Third-party payment providers may have additional terms and conditions.

16. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION IS NOT ALWAYS TICKET CONFIRMATION

A payment receipt or payment authorization does not necessarily mean that the airline ticket has been issued.

Customers must wait for the official ticket confirmation from TicketsWale.

A completed ticket transaction should generally include a ticket number or other final issuance information.

If you have made a payment but have not received your ticket confirmation, contact TicketsWale immediately.

17. STEP 6 — TICKET ISSUANCE

Once:

  • The applicable fare is confirmed;
  • The required passenger information is received;
  • Payment has been successfully processed;
  • Any required verification is completed; and
  • The airline or booking system confirms availability,

TicketsWale may issue the airline ticket.

Ticket issuance is subject to the airline’s inventory and applicable fare rules at the time of issuance.

18. FINAL TICKET CONFIRMATION

After ticket issuance, TicketsWale will provide the customer with available booking information, which may include:

  • Passenger name;
  • PNR/booking reference;
  • Ticket number;
  • Airline;
  • Flight numbers;
  • Travel dates;
  • Departure and arrival information;
  • Cabin class;
  • Baggage information;
  • Fare conditions; and
  • Other applicable information.

Customers should review the confirmation immediately.

19. CUSTOMER VERIFICATION AFTER TICKET ISSUANCE

Customers should carefully verify:

  • Passenger name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Travel date;
  • Departure city;
  • Arrival city;
  • Flight numbers;
  • Departure time;
  • Arrival time;
  • Connecting airports;
  • Baggage allowance;
  • Cabin class;
  • Ticket number; and
  • Other itinerary information.

Any apparent error should be reported to TicketsWale as soon as possible.

20. PRE-TRAVEL VERIFICATION

Customers should verify their itinerary before travelling.

We recommend checking:

  • Flight status;
  • Departure time;
  • Terminal;
  • Check-in requirements;
  • Baggage allowance;
  • Passport validity;
  • Visa requirements;
  • Transit requirements;
  • Entry requirements; and
  • Any airline notifications.

Airline schedules can change after ticket issuance.

Customers should monitor communications from both TicketsWale and the airline.

21. AIRPORT ARRIVAL

Customers are responsible for arriving at the airport sufficiently early to complete:

  • Check-in;
  • Baggage drop-off;
  • Security screening;
  • Immigration;
  • Customs procedures where applicable; and
  • Boarding.

The applicable airline determines its check-in and boarding deadlines.

TicketsWale does not guarantee boarding where a passenger arrives after the airline’s applicable deadline.

22. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Passengers are responsible for obtaining all documents required for their journey.

Depending on the itinerary, these may include:

  • Valid passport;
  • Visa;
  • Transit visa;
  • Electronic travel authorization;
  • Residence permit;
  • Entry permit;
  • Health documentation;
  • Vaccination documentation, where applicable; and
  • Other government-required documentation.

TicketsWale may provide general information but does not guarantee visa approval, immigration clearance, or entry into any country.

Passengers should verify current requirements with the appropriate government authority, embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or airline.

23. CANADA–INDIA TRAVEL

For Canada-to-India and India-to-Canada travel, customers should carefully review:

  • Passport validity;
  • Indian entry requirements;
  • Canadian entry requirements;
  • Transit requirements;
  • Visa or authorization requirements;
  • Airline documentation requirements; and
  • Requirements applicable to connecting countries.

Requirements may vary depending on nationality, residency status, passport type, route, and transit location.

Customers should verify the requirements applicable to their individual circumstances before travel.

24. BAGGAGE VERIFICATION

Baggage allowances can vary significantly between airlines and fare types.

Customers should confirm:

  • Checked baggage allowance;
  • Number of permitted bags;
  • Weight limits;
  • Cabin baggage allowance;
  • Size restrictions;
  • Excess-baggage charges; and
  • Special baggage rules.

Where baggage information is displayed during booking, customers should treat it as subject to the applicable airline’s final rules.

25. SEAT SELECTION

Seat selection may be available depending on the airline and fare.

Some airlines may charge additional fees for:

  • Preferred seats;
  • Exit-row seats;
  • Extra-legroom seats;
  • Front-row seats; or
  • Other specific seating categories.

Seat requests are subject to availability and airline approval.

An airline may change a seat assignment for operational, safety, aircraft, or other reasons.

26. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Customers requiring special assistance should inform TicketsWale as early as possible.

This may include:

  • Wheelchair assistance;
  • Mobility assistance;
  • Special meals;
  • Medical assistance;
  • Unaccompanied-minor services;
  • Infant-related services;
  • Assistance for passengers with disabilities; or
  • Other special requirements.

Requests are subject to airline policies, advance-notice requirements, availability, and applicable regulations.

27. CODESHARE AND CONNECTING FLIGHTS

Some itineraries may include flights operated by more than one airline.

Customers should check:

  • Marketing carrier;
  • Operating carrier;
  • Connection time;
  • Airport changes;
  • Baggage arrangements;
  • Check-in requirements; and
  • Transit or visa requirements.

Different airlines may have different policies even when flights form part of the same itinerary.

28. FLIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES

After ticket issuance, an airline may modify:

  • Departure times;
  • Arrival times;
  • Flight numbers;
  • Aircraft;
  • Routes;
  • Connection times; or
  • Airports.

TicketsWale will assist customers with eligible schedule-change options where the airline makes such options available to us.

The customer’s rights may also be governed by applicable airline rules and Canadian air passenger protection requirements.

29. FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS

If an airline cancels a flight, the available options may include:

  • Rebooking;
  • Alternative routing;
  • Refund;
  • Travel credit; or
  • Other remedies.

The applicable option depends on the reason for cancellation, airline policy, fare conditions, and applicable law.

For flights covered by Canada’s Air Passenger Protection Regulations, passengers may have additional rights relating to refunds, rebooking, assistance, and compensation in qualifying circumstances.

30. CUSTOMER-REQUESTED CHANGES

Customers wishing to change a ticket should contact TicketsWale before the scheduled departure time whenever possible.

Changes may involve:

  • Airline change fees;
  • Fare differences;
  • Taxes;
  • TicketsWale service or processing fees; and
  • Availability restrictions.

Some discounted fares may not permit changes.

31. CUSTOMER-REQUESTED CANCELLATIONS

Customers wishing to cancel a ticket should contact TicketsWale as soon as possible.

Cancellation eligibility is determined by:

  • Fare rules;
  • Airline policy;
  • Ticket status;
  • Time of cancellation;
  • Whether the ticket has been used;
  • Applicable law; and
  • Other applicable conditions.

Please refer to the TicketsWale Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy for detailed information.

32. NO-SHOWS

If a passenger fails to travel without cancelling or changing the booking in accordance with the applicable rules, the airline may classify the booking as a no-show.

A no-show may cause:

  • Loss of ticket value;
  • Cancellation of remaining segments;
  • Rebooking restrictions;
  • Additional charges; or
  • Other penalties.

Customers should contact TicketsWale before departure if they cannot travel.

33. REFUND REQUESTS

Customers requesting refunds should provide:

  • Passenger name;
  • PNR/booking reference;
  • Ticket number;
  • Flight details;
  • Reason for the request; and
  • Any supporting information requested.

TicketsWale may need to obtain authorization from the airline before processing a refund.

Refund amounts and timelines depend on the applicable airline rules, payment method, and applicable law.

34. REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is approved, TicketsWale will process or facilitate the refund through the applicable payment channel.

Refunds are generally made to the original payment method, subject to airline, payment-provider, and legal requirements.

Bank or payment-provider processing times may vary after a refund has been initiated.

35. SERVICE FEES

TicketsWale may charge service, administrative, processing, or other fees for certain services.

Where applicable, these charges will be disclosed before the relevant service is completed.

Examples may include:

  • Booking assistance;
  • Ticket changes;
  • Cancellation processing;
  • Refund processing;
  • Rebooking;
  • Special requests; or
  • Other customer-requested services.

Airline charges and TicketsWale service fees are separate and may both apply.

36. BOOKING CANCELLATION BY TICKETSWale

TicketsWale may cancel or decline to complete a booking where:

  • Payment cannot be verified;
  • The fare is no longer available;
  • Fraud or unauthorized payment is suspected;
  • Incorrect or incomplete information has been provided;
  • The airline rejects the booking;
  • A technical error prevents ticket issuance;
  • The transaction violates applicable law;
  • The customer violates these Terms; or
  • Cancellation is otherwise reasonably necessary.

Where a customer has already paid, TicketsWale will address any applicable refund in accordance with the circumstances, applicable fare rules, payment procedures, and law.

37. AIRLINE OR SYSTEM ERRORS

Airline and reservation-system errors may occasionally result in:

  • Incorrect fare displays;
  • Duplicate reservations;
  • Incorrect availability;
  • Incorrect schedule information;
  • Ticketing failures; or
  • Other technical issues.

TicketsWale will make reasonable efforts to correct such issues and communicate with affected customers.

38. DUPLICATE BOOKINGS

Customers should avoid making multiple bookings for the same passenger and itinerary unless specifically advised to do so.

Duplicate reservations may be cancelled by the airline or may result in charges or restrictions.

If you believe a duplicate booking has been created, contact TicketsWale immediately.

39. GROUP BOOKINGS

Group bookings may be subject to separate:

  • Fare rules;
  • Deposit requirements;
  • Payment deadlines;
  • Cancellation rules;
  • Passenger-name deadlines;
  • Baggage conditions; and
  • Airline-specific requirements.

TicketsWale may provide separate terms for group bookings.

Where separate group terms are issued, those terms will apply to the extent of any inconsistency.

40. CORPORATE AND BUSINESS BOOKINGS
